A few tips before your stay

Bring shoes that do not mind rain and sand — our meadow can get really wet in the morning and in bad weather.
Pack swimwear — you will want it in our pool and hot tub overlooking the meadow and the starry sky.
On arrival, look for the parking spot marked with your tent name, then call Karolina — we will come out to greet you and show you around bosco.
We are building a little library of books recommended by guests. If you have one worth recommending, bring it and write on the first page why it is worth reading.
Pets are welcome (PLN 100 per stay), but the grounds are unfenced and wild animals live in the neighbouring forest. If your pet gets nervous in new places, please keep it supervised or muzzled.

Our Modrzewek is in the Piotrków district, near Wolbórz (there is another Modrzewek on the far side of the Zalew Sulejowski).

Tuscan wine tasting

In 2024 we worked a season at the Palagina winery in Tuscany and brought back wine from our adopted plot. Whatever you know about wine, we will happily teach you to taste it alongside Italian cheeses, cured meats and snacks from our deli. (approx. 2h, PLN 139/person)

Activities at bosco

bosco is the perfect place for dolce far niente, but we have dreamed up a few activities. Tick the ones that tempt you — we will check availability and confirm.

✓ A soak in the hot tub on the meadow (free)After a whole day of dolce far niente, reward yourselves with a relaxing soak: a view over the meadow and, after dark, the starry sky. Fair warning: time runs differently in our hot tub, and minutes quietly turn into hours. ✓ Tending the vegetable garden with Justyna (free)If you like having soil on your hands and smile at the sight of tomatoes on the vine, give your gardening streak somewhere to go in our vegetable patch, eating veg straight from the bed as you go. ✓ An appetising Italian lesson with Karolina (PLN 130)A beginners' lesson: the main rules of pronunciation and the basic phrases you need travelling in Italy or digging into Italian cooking. It takes the form of a meal, course by course — from antipasto to dolce and caffè — so do not sit down to it hungry! ✓ A professional photo session with Justyna (from PLN 700, individual quote)After years of shooting professionally, Justyna now catches sunbeams in the vegetable garden, but the passion and the eye stayed: she photographs bosco, and she will photograph you too, outdoors. ✓ A visit to the coffee roastery of Gosia and Grzesiek in Studzianki (PLN 200/couple, Saturdays 10:00 or 13:00)See with your own eyes how roasted coffee is made and taste several different varieties. We love this coffee ourselves — which is why we chose it for the machine at bosco! ✓ A carriage ride (PLN 500, up to 4) or a horse-drawn picnic wagon (PLN 750, up to 14)Travel back in time and see Wolbórz and the area from a completely different perspective. ✓ A music workshop with a looper with Kuba from Stodoła Stecówka (PLN 650/group)A looper is a magical device that turns your voice, a clap or a hummed melody into looped music. Layer by layer we will build a track together, and finish by taking on a legend and remixing Chopin! ✓ Dolce far nientedeckchairs, hammocks and blankets are made for blissful idleness. That is exactly what we are coming for, and we plan no other activities.

The Meadow Lounge has a kitchenette, grill, coffee machine and an Italian mini-deli. To feel bosco's Italian soul even more, pick a box — enough for several meals.
